Club Med is pursuing its Asset Right strategy which aims to establish a balanced portfolio of resorts, focusing on 2 types of operating structure lease Management.
The Resort is operated by Club Med, which pays rent to the owner of the premises.
Club Med is entrusted with the management of a resort by its owner, who pays it a management commission Capital expenditure as well as operating and maintenance costs for the resort are incurred by the owner.
Thus, Club Med focuses on its core activities: Resort Management & Tour Operating company.

15ha with about 50 000m² constructible or a minimum capacity of 900 beds (350 rooms) for existing resorts.

A region with a cultural potential to allow Discovery excursions, and available surface area on the site for sports and water sports facilities.

Case study: La Caravelle renovation and extension program
The objective of the Caravelle renovation and extension aimed to
- Upgrade the resort to meet customer expectations by modernizing/renovating existing infrastructures and by creating new offers within the site: baby club, spa, zen oasis (area reserved for adults), water play area for children.
- Increase the capacity: the project created 122 new rooms while destroying 17 rooms, bringing the total capacity to 380 rooms.
- Develop the international clientele: the program meets the expectations of the clientele, particularly North American.
The operation carried by CLUB MED is part of the voluntary policy of the regional authority to preserve and increase the attractiveness of the territory by responding to 3 issues defined in the ERDF program :
